I use a Power Mac 7200 hooked up to a very old monitor (one that gives max 640 by 480 res) as a server. I hooked the 7200 to an Apple Vision 17" monitor for a while. With this monitor the res was set at 1152 by 870. Now I have switched back to the old monitor and it just won't come up. I have tried using the Apple Vision to switch the resolution back to the old one in the monitors control panel but all the resolution options have disappeared except 1152 by 870.

Any ideas.

Thanks.

Ilesh

Try zapping the PRAM? Plug in the old monitor, power on and hold cmd-opt-p-r, thru at least 3 sets of start-up chimes.
