does anyone know of video card vendors that are planning to support the apple display connector (available on the new apple monitors)? ati does not ship adc support on it's retail board, and apple tells me that they do not have any plans to sell the ati board through the website - it is only available as a bto option. ugh. even an adapter would be nice.

I know 3dfx made an announcement a while back that they were going to add ADC connectors to their future products, which I took to mean not their current Voodoo 5 & 4 products. Probably Voodoo 6 or whatever. A long time from now. The Apple Store is selling an ADC->DVI adapter, which may or may not be what you need (I can't remember which way it goes: DVI connection to an ADC port or an ADC connection to a DVI port, probably the latter).

Formac's upcoming Proformance 4 (coming out in november) has dual monitor support, which an ADC output module can be fitted. It's a very high-end video card tho, $749 for the card and an extra $95 for ADC module. 64mb SGRAM, 3 graphic processors in total *drool*

The adapter the Apple Store sells is to hook up the slightly older Apple Displays with DVI to the new machines with ADC.
