Hi, I received the a set of JBL Creature 2 Speakers for my PowerMac G5 yesterday and they work great except for one thing. On the right speaker, there are two buttons to adjust the volume, however when I try and use them it has no effect, the volume doesn't change at all. This is very annoying since I can't make the volume go any higher or lower easily. Is the speaker control being overridden by something else? Is the speaker volume control simply broken? Any suggesting would be helpful. Thanks.

make sure it is plugged in all the way to the subwoofer/power unit

i had the same problem with mine when i originally had them
