Since upgrading from 9 to 10 my Freecome USB external CD read/write is not recognised by my iMAC

What version of OS X, and what software are you using to burn?

Does it show up in System Profiler?

OS X.2 and the burn software is roxio...Mmmm I'm new to iMac where do I find System Profiler?

[your hard disk]/Applications/Utilities/System Profiler.
