I'm having a strange problem updating my Treo....
When I enter in a new card in the Mac OS address book, then sync to my Treo, all of the information is ported except the person's address. I've looked, but can't figure out why that is.
Any suggestions?

1. Probably redundant, but have you examined the conduit settings o be sure Contacts have been syncronized.
2. In the Mac address book, doubleclick on the offending name and examine to see that the address is in the proper column. Treo does not display all of the contents of the Mac adress book
Just out of curosity, are you hardwired or bluetooth. I am experiencing another type of difficulty.
Mac OSX 10.4.5 – Bluetooth v1.7 – Treo 650 (2nd one new) Bluetooth DBT 120 (2nd one new)
HotSync settings Local –Power Mac – PAIRED successfully to serial port-1 then tried serial port-2 and continue to get “serial port is in use by another application” Sprint advance help spent 2.5 hours w/o success. D-Link spent 1 hr w/o success.
Was able to HotSync for about a week without problems. Then it quit.
Treo will HotSync using hardwire supplied with phone.
Obviously, as evidence by the postings on line, I am not alone with this dilemma.
1. How does one remove a serial port from the list
2. Any suggestions how to remedy.

10.4.4 broke something with Bluetooth and Palm, 10.4.5 didn't fix it. So here is the trick to solving the
“serial port is in use by another application” message when BT hotsyncing a Palm Device (Note: it's not the most convenient, and needs to be done EVERY hot sync).
The work around is as follows:
1) Open System Preferences
2) Click Bluetooth
3) Click Settings tab
4) Turn on your Palm device and begin a HotSync
5) Return to the Mac, and click either the Devices or Sharing tab in the Bluetooth preferences
The hotsync will begin.
Again, you have to do this EVERY time you sync.
I hope this helps.

I had the same problem, used Treo to sync via Bluetooth prior to 1.4.5 update and now it does not synch. I tried the OS X system Blutooth pane to add another bluetooth device and no luck...
So by chance I tried to pair a new Moto bluetooth headset and bingo it paired. I then selected on my Treo to add a new device, bingo again the Mac now is seeing the device to pair.
Steps:
1) Delete any exsisting Treo paired in the OS X list
2) If you have another bluetooth device to pair then add it
3) Go to your Treo and have it initiate a paring session
4) Mac will prompt you for the pair key
5) HotSync viabluetooth now works.
Good luck
