I had the same problem with a SCSI drive on mine... I could not get anything (Mac or PC) to recognize it. After fiddling with a bunch of jumper settings and everything, I gave up on it. If you find anything out, let me know. Sorry I can't be of more help.

Cheers!

Things to check:

1.Terminate ONLY the last device (farthest from the controller card) on chain for SCSI-2/3 (terminator on cable ONLY IF LVD)

This means to also check that you pulled the term block OFF of the original SCSI drive (first/closest from card)

2. SCSI ID is not 0 or 7. Also be sure it is not same as any other device on the chain.

3. Be sure none of the pins were bent when the cable was installed. This is frighteningly easy to do. Be gentle if you need to straighten any.

4. Are you using a high quality cable?

5. Is the firmware on the SCSI controller card up to date? Are the drivers?

Try to isolate the drives, Install just one drive and boot with the CD, check if the drive is there using Drive Setup and note the ID. Then disconnect and connect the other. This can help rule out a bad drive.

Good Luck and Godspeed.
