iBook, OS 10.3.9
Downloaded and setup iSync conduit
Purchased BOAF brand cable that specificaly is supposed to work with the Vx
Purchased 3rd party serial-USB gender changer for the standard issue palmpilot cradle.

I've simply not been able to get the palmpilot to sync with my iBook. I've tried other iBooks and earlier OS X versions. No luck.

The impression I'm getting is that no drivers are needed with OS X.

Is it a Belkin USB-serial adapter? Because if it is you won't be able to get it to work. The drivers that come with it are for OS9, and there is no OS X support. I tried the same thing with my Palm III, ended up taking the adapter back for a refund and purchased a new Palm with direct USB support.

Even then, I'm having problems with The Missing Sync which need to be resolved.
