hello,

i have a problem with this modem.
when i disconnect the modem without turn off the iBook, a kernel panic appears in the 10-15 minutes...
same problem with the sleep...

do you know this bug ?
what can i do ?

get rid of the usb adsl modem! Get an ethernet modem--it requires no drivers and won't give your system the panics. Really, get rid of that USB ADSL modem and use an ethernet one. Can't stress this enough.

Fulmer is totally right. Get rid of the worthless USB modem and get an Ethernet one instead. USB is for keyboards, mice, printers and scanners, and that's all anyone should really use it for. USB DSL modems are usually provided to PC users who lack Ethernet capability.
