Just got this new burner. Burner will hang half way thru burning a CD. I tried Toast 6.0.9 and with disk burner from Apple. I got the same results. I tried different speeds (2X to 40X) to no avail. There is a new firmware available for the DRX-810UL-T which is 3.0d. This firmware is only available for Windows; nothing yet for Mac. Anyome encountered the same problem?http://forums.macnn.com/images/smilies/bang.gif

Sony read my complaint. Two days ago, we can download the new firmware which is now available for Mac. My drive is working perfectly. Now I can burn CDs and DVDs. Thanks Sony.
