I have a Quicksilver machine that has the 120 gig drive limit. How can I break this barrier! I've seen the Sonnet Tempo ATA 133 and this looks like it will do the job. Are there any other manufacturers solutions out there for this sort of thing? What about skipping this and opting for an SATA solution instead?

An SATA card will work too.

FirmTek, Acard, and SIIG all make ATA133 and/or SATA controller cards for Macs.

Personally, I'd go with SATA because the cables are so much easier to manage.

you can get some drivers, called "speedtools" or something that will let your computer read over 120. i don't know how well it works .

at this point in time, SATA cards & drives are close to same prices as PATA units, are faster, and they will be forward compatible should you decide to get a PPC/G5 in the future.......
