Hi all!

I do have a TiBook G4 400 and use the Iomgea CD-RW
with MacOS X. While working with the Roxio Toaster
I was able to burn CD's up to 4x without any problem.

But I like the integrated way mac os manages the CDs
but using macos burning software it only uses 2x.

My question is there any way to increase the burning
speed using the mac os native features?

Also if there is a lose of relyablility.

Thanks

I don't think there is a way to go around the 2X speed. I have the same CD burner that you have, and when I want to burn at 4X, I switch back to OS 9, and use Toast. The nice thing about burning at a low speed is that there is less risk of burning a bad disc.
