If you also noticed this post in the Third Party Software Forum, I apologize for the double entry. I did it to increase my chances for a solution. I need to print my daughter's homework before the morning. Besides, I'm not sure if it is a software problem or a peripheral one.
Please Help!!!
I have an iMac DV SE (400 MHz) with and Epson Stylus 740. I'm trying to print a document from MS Word '98 but, something is going seriously wrong.
When I do a print preview first, and I see everything fine the way it should be, it tells me it can't print because I haven't selected a printer from the Chooser. Yet, the only way to get it to see my printer is by restarting and selecting the printer in the Chooser before I open the document. But, if I tell it to print the two-page document without previewing it first, it only prints the bottom half of one page in a size ten times what is should be.
I've checked the margins, I've tried changing the font, and I've quit and restarted and copied and pasted to a new document. I've also printed an Excel and Apple Works document with no problem. Nothing seems to work. I could use Apple Works instead but, I like Word.
Completely Frustrated...
