I used to be able to format zip disks from the Special menu but now the option of choosing between mac and pc formats is gone. Oh by the way I'm using OS 9.0.4. Any ideas how I can get it back?

i think if you want to change the format of a zip disk, you'd want to do it via the iomega tools application and not in the finder. somewhere in the iomega literature it advises against using the finder to do this because you're only short erasing the disk... changing the format should be done with a long erase.
