just for data-burning. I am looking for a DVDrecorder. The Pioneer A03 seems pretty much out of date (2x burner). Which model/manufacturer is best buy?

Or should I wait for doublesided burners/higer capacity (27Gb) burners???

if you think the A03 is out of date, then i think you're out of luck, as i believe that's the only DVD-R/RW out there right now.

i think it will be a while until we see higher capacity drives (like blu-ray). if you need a drive now, i suggest you get the A03. prices for these drives are pretty good, at least here in the US.
