HELP! I don't know what I'm doing, but my daughter at college (she has an IMAC DV) and her boyfriend at college (he has a Dell Laptop) want to get a video camera to do video conferencing to save on long phone bills. I know that Kensington makes the videocam. Do I need to get her a microphone and headset??? Exactly how does this work? Obviously, she gets on the internet and then what? Does it cost anything per minute?? Does it actually work? I'd love to talk to someone who actually has used one or knows something abut it. Thanks. Deb

3Com's Homecam is a terrific little performer. As for the how-to part, try iVisit.com. It's accessible to both Mac & PC platforms and allows for private chats via password-restricted rooms.
