Hi, I want to print onto a plastic and I want to know what harware will do it. I have a feeling the equipement for doing it is expensive, is it possible to send an image of what I want printed on each side of the card to some kind of online printing service? And they could send me it. Or is there anyone (reading this) that will do it for me, for a reasonable price?

not sure what you mean by printing on plastic. if it's just acetate (transparency) most color printers has this capability. if it's some specific (odd shape, heavy thickness) you'll probably need to screen print on the plastic (could be expensive). i'd call around to some local print shops for the best advice.

what are you printing, specifically? and what sort of plastic?

Agree with the prev post that most plastic surfaces will not take to laser or inkjet print ink/toner, let alone running it through the feed mechanisms.

There are some transparency mylars that work with both. Not sure what kind of plastic you're talking about?
