I have a G4 Desktop that does not have bluetooth built in. I acquired a wireless mouse, keyboard and a external bluetooth stick which I have plugged into a USB port at the back of my mac. The bluetooth mouse and keyboard work perfectly fine until such time the mac goes to sleep. When I try and wake the mac by moving the mouse or pressing a button on the keyboard it fails to wake. The only way around this is to go to the bluetooth stick at the back of the mac and remove and reinsert, after that the mac wakes and bluetooth mouse and keyboard work fine once more. I have tried to see if there was anything within the system preferences to stop this happening but did not find anything. I would appreciate if somebody might suggest a solution to this problem or even to let me know if this is something that nothing can be done about.
Thanks in Advance,
The Celtictiger
