This monitor has been fantastic and I love the amount of connectivity. However, lately, there seems to be a strange problem. At certain times and in certain apps, the display loses a noticable amount of contrast, especially with text. It becomes rather washed out and grey. It seems to be a particular issue in Safari but sometimes affects all apps. Odd.

I've tried various settings and adjustments, but I'm not really sure what is causing the inconsistency. Any other users experiencing this? I wonder if this is anything to do with the documented backlighting issues, because white on black text seems consistently sharp.
