Anyone using an iPod with OS 9.1?

The documentation recommends 9.2.1 (or later) or OS 10.1(or later). Currently I am running iTunes 2 on OS 9.1 with no problems and I would like to know if the iPod will work properly with OS 9.1 before I spend $599 CDN + 7% GST on one.

I have 9.1 on my cyborg'd 8500 at work with iTunes2 running also.
When I first got my 'Pod, I used the 8500 to load some tunes, worked fine, even charged the battery thru the Que FW card.
I also ran free file access and pulled a bunch of song files over that way.
My 'Pod is sync'd with the duallie at home so I don't use it much on 9.1, but it worked OK.
On the 8500, I keep the MP3's on a FW external and iTunes lost the files last week. Easy recovery.
I also notice there is no info on the playlist or library at the bottom of the iTunes window on 9.1, like there is on 9.2.
Some small issues with 9.1but nothing that's got me worried.

I'm using my iPod with OS 9.1 and I have had no problems. The only inconvenience I've encountered was trying to get the iPod Updater application to run. It turns out that all I needed to do was upgrade my CarbonLib extension from 1.1.1 to 1.4. Good luck!

Thanks for the replies.

Now I just have to convince my significant other that she really needs to have one.
