Hi all,

Just purchased a Logitech G7 mouse for my Powerbook and have been experiencing a bit of eratic behaviour and jumpiness.

1) Could it be because the mouse receiver runs on 2.4Ghz (like Airport)? However, many Logitech mouses use the 2.4Ghz receiver and I don't read of any real complaints from any users in this forum...

2) Or could it be because the G7 mouse wasn't designed for a Mac? I tried using it on my PC laptop and don't have jumpiness to the degree that I get on my Powerbook.


I really like the shape of the G7 (like the classic mx700) yet this wireless problem is painful! I've heard good things about the MX900 so I might consider going that route...

I bought the exact same mouse for my parents for Christmas.

It is being used with an eMac, and they love it. They haven't mentioned any problems.
