We have three Mac's, 2 iBooks and a dual-G4, all running 10.3.9. I installed the HP driver software on all three.
Both ibooks, when I open the Printer Setup Utility and go to add the printer via Rendezvous, the software finds the driver and the printer is then loaded into the menu of available printers.

When I do the -same- thing on the dual-G4, Printer Setup/Rendezvous reports there is no printer driver.

I have installed twice, manually un-installed, and then installed again.

Printer Setup/Rendezvous still reports "Driver not installed"

I can access the HTML controls on the printer just fine though...

Any helpful clues?
