I currently have an Xserve and Xserve RAID system that holds our companies login, mail, and file server. We're expanding and I'll soon be choosing a new UPS system that will actually rackmount. I currently have a freestanding unit for each Xserve box.

What does everyone here recomend for a single Xserve and Xserve RAID that will rack mount and handle the 3 power supplies of the Xserves?

Right now I'm looking at APC's Smart-UPS 3000VA systems. Who can give either examples of what they have or your own "dream" setup?

Thanks!

Prince.

MGE makes nice rack-mount UPSes, too.

I've had all good experiences with APC, though admittedly, I haven't used them for an unattended emergency network shutdown, which is what I assume is most important to you.
