I tried downloading to my iPod from an external Firewire drive. iTunes locks up about half way through the update. The iPod is plugged into the second Firewire port of the hard drive. Kind of like a hub. If I transfer everything to my iBook I have no problem downloading to the iPod. Any ideas? I don't really want to load up my internal (10gig) with MP3's.

Hearf that other people had that problem as well. I'm waiting for it to be resolved until I buy the iPod. I don't want to waste my Ti HD with MP3 stuff.
