I'm sure it's on the web someware but I can't find it! DOH!!!

Can anyone tell me the pinouts on the firewire 4&6 pin connectors?

I'm building a unit so I can use the new iPod that I have just ordered in my car, but I need to get the pinouts so I can devise a connector so I can power the unit up from the car.

Home someone out there can help.

Thanks in Advance.

Dr. Bott is selling a car adapter for the iPod. Might be easier.

Hi there, I'm hoping to use the Firewire connection to power the unit directly from the fuse box in the car and not to use one of those ugly cable trailing cigarette connection thingies!

I will let peeps know how I get on.
