It seems Mitsubishi/NEC has discontinued the DiamondPro 900U and replaced it with the (less capable) DiamondPro 920.

One of the most compelling features of the DiamondPro 900U is that it has dual video and USB inputs. One could connect a keyboard and mouse to the monitor's USB hub, and then connect two computers to the USB and video inputs. Switching between the two computers is then as easy as hitting the 'VGA/BNC' button on the front of the display. I have this setup at home and am very happy with it.

Unfortunately, I am not longer able to recomend that to people here at work. Does anyone know of a suitable replacement?

Thanks!

Yes, the Electron Blue 22 does use a Mitsubishi DiamonTron tube, but it still only has ONE upstream USB port, to say nothing of the fact that it is a 22" display an not even in the same class as the 900U.

The MAJOR advantage of the 900U is that it has TWO upstream USB ports. You can connect two computers to it. Perhaps I did not make this clear, but the 900U essentially has a built-in KVM switch.

Anyone else want to take a shot?

Thanks!

It seems that this is an error. They are out of stock.

Sorry, I thought the 900U was the same as the 22", seems it's the same as the old model 19" LaCie.

AFAIK the 19" LaCie hasn't had a USB for some time. A friend of mine used to buy the 900Us, and I remember him complaining about them no longer being available, and the replacements not having USB... I think you're out of luck, or you have to find a hub separately.
