Hi all

I am a bit curious about this:

I have crashed my original Western Digital 6G IDE disk.

I don't think its a physical crash, since I was doing
some renaming operations with "A Better Finder Rename",
and Finder starting acting funny responding really slow etc.

And the system crashed once, and then a second time.

After this I could see the disk in "Drive Setup" as unformatted.

I hooked up an external SCSI-disk, formatted it and installed 8.6 on this.

After that I could not see the disk at all in "Drive Setup" or with any other tools i tried.

What I wonder is, what is wrong when I can't even see the disk in "Drive Setup"?

I have a Rev1 MT G3/266
G3MiniTower/266, 192M/6=G
OS 9.1/8.6
