They look good with Apple's current hardware designs, they're inexpensive ($19 at CompUSA) and coupled with
"USB Overdrive" (shareware) work great with Tiger (10.4.4). Here's the URL for

I'm posting this because the mouse's packaging only mentions Windows on the box but USB Overdrive gives full support to all the buttons and scroll wheel. Mac OS X by itself only supports 3 buttons and the scroll wheel of this mouse.
If you want to set the 4th & 5th buttons to Exposè or Dashboard, don't use the System Settings panel. Instead, use the USB Overdrive panel and set the buttons to the keyboard equivalents for popping those features up. For example, to get "F12" (hot key for Dashboard in System Settings) set as a button in the USB Overdrive settings, hold down Option and tab the F12 key.
