I am considering an iPod. I have nowhere near 5GB of music - more like 2 or 3. I would like to use the other 2 or 3 GB on the iPod to build a clean OS 9/10 boot disk in case my internal drive gets messed up.

Is this possible?

Thanks,

Trygve

When I got my 'Pod, I played with the booting idea. I could boot from the 'Pod on 10.1 but not 9.1 or 9.2 on my duallie at home. Dunno if that is a machine specific situation or OS.
