Heh all,

I have a Motorola V3 phone. I remember I used to be able to send and receive sms via bluetooth using my Powerbook. I could go into Address Book in OS X, look for a contact and type my sms and then send it all from my PB.

Problem is, I cannot do it anymore. In short, the option to send sms (in Address Book) has been greyed out. I'm pretty sure this happened after a software upgrade of OS X Tiger, but which update was it, I do not know.

Is there something I can do to have this function back. I do have a spare SE T610 phonetoo and I have checked that it has no problem with the sms via bluetooth function at all.

Please advise. Thanks in advance.

I think it's the Motorola drivers in Mac os x that don't support this feature. I have a v620 and I'm not able to send sms-messages from the Addressbook either. Don't know if it was possible before Tiger though....

It was definitely possible before Tiger, and also for a while after that when it was still at 10.4.1 (i think).
