I've got an iMac DV 400 (blueberry, 512 megs ram), recently upgraded to 9.2.1.
I'm using an Apple Pro Mouse (optical)... hooked up to a Micro Connectors USB keyboard/hub.
The mouse stops constantly in OS 9 (never in OS X). It doesnt matter what I'm doing. iTunes, Final Cut Pro, Menus, and just moving it... it stops working. The entire system locks up too for about 15 seconds. And if I'm lucky, the mouse unfreezes itself. But most of the time, I have to restart. I thought it was the keyboard hub, but it does the same plugged into the hub and directly in the computer...
When it stops, I hear the Hard drive clicking a bit, and then the mouse comes back.
It didnt bother me because I've been using OS X more often, but I have to go back to 9 for FCP, and its becoming a major pain.
I didnt install anything signifigant in a while... not that I remember, and I updated to 9.2.1 about 2 months ago... so I dont know... Anyone have any ideas?
