Shut up already. You posted this in other forums. This is not a good way to get support.

Although I disagree with the language the original poster used, I agree with the sentiment. Formac's quality control is not the best I have ever seen. I've had a lot of noise and vibration problems with a firewire CDRW. However, Formac's pricing schedule is VERY suspect. I ordered their Firewire drive and they changed the price while my drive was in transit and they refused a refund. I had to resort to filing a complaint with the California Better Business Bureau. Eventually the did settle things up for me, and took care of it in an admirable fashion. But, I can't say that I would recommend any Formac product to a friend asking about them.

Regards,

Josh

I have to agree with the original poster. I bought a ProTV Stereo card on the understanding (from their web site) that Mac OS X drivers would be forthcoming. This then changed to 'evaluating' writing drivers, and now they tell me that they are not writing them at all: the recent 'ProTV' release is for their Studio system only!

Therefore, they have misled me and no doubt many others. I would suggest avoiding any company that behaves like this.
