Well i gots my new FireWire drive in and i copied all the files it says to except for FireWireAIM becuase it's not there....any thoughts?
Also i might have replaced the new Firewire things w/ the old ones (bellow it says not to)
HELP!!

Drag and drop following files into “SystemFolder:Extensions”.
Files required for MacOS 8.5 to 9.0 are “ATAManager v4.0”, “FirewireAIM” drivers.
“Firewire Enabler” and “Firewire Support” are also included. If both files are not pre-installed by MacOS, simply drag both files into “SystemFolder:Extensions” as well. If both files are already installed, do not install them.

The drive is from Shining Technologies (p.s their site blows!) http://www.shining.com

alright
i got the firewire to work
but it' sreally stupid
it was a 80 gig drive
and the finder says it's max is 76 i can live with that...
but when i copied some files to it from OS9 (i plan to reinstall OS9 )
It says that ive copied MORE then 20 gigs...
Now this is odd...becuase i don't even have 20 gigs on my hard drive to copy, i have a 10 gig hard drive...so as you can see this is kind of impossible..
any thoughts as to why it says that?
