Hi,
I'm a relatively new mac user. Lately I've been having trouble burning cd's from my Que Firewire. I get this error message:
"Couldn't complete the late command because of a Mac OS error. Result code = -9377". I was burning everything fine when I first got the burner a month and a half ago but yesterday everytime I tried to burn a mixed cd I got this message. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.

I have and iMac DV+ 128 RAM, running mac OS 9.1

thanks.

what's a mixed cd?

also, you'd be well off to let us know what version of which software you're using, whether you've tried and/or disabled the disc burner and iToons extensions, what's the make and model of your drive (in Toast, what does it say in Recorder Info)?

QPS doesn't make cd burners, they just buy other companies burners and stick them in cheap plastic cases, so two Que drives with the same specs will not necessarily have the same parts inside

I guess since you're new to mac-ing, I should mention that to troubleshoot any hardware or system-wide problem with Mac OS 9 and below, you first go to the Extensions Manager in the Control Panels folder, choose "Mac OS All", then go an re-activate the extensions that came with your device (then restart). If this solves your problem, you have a software conflict and you must start the tedious job of finding which system extension is causing your problem

I've had this problem from time to time on MY QPS FW CD-RW using Toast burning software. I'm usually able to solve the problem by altering my playlist. I think it has to do with certain corrupted MP3 files. I sometimes have to find other versions of a song in MP3 format if I can't get one in particular to work. Anyway, try starting with just a few songs, click Record, see if it errors, and if it doesn't, cancel it and try adding more songs. Use this to try and figure out which song is giving you trouble.
