I am trying to chat (PC user using AIM chat client) with someone with a mac and using isight. I don't have video capability on my computer, but would the person be able to broadcast video from their isight to me, even if i can't show myself?

They should be able to. There is an option in iChat for that. One way video chat. That is if AIM allows it on your end.

Yes, it's highly dependent on the PC user having the latest version of AIM. However, in my experience, doing this is very hit or miss.. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. And if it did work, it seemed to disconnect after a short time.
Good luck!
The worst thing about having a failing memory is..... no, it's gone.

I found some probelms when upgrading to Tiger. Worked well with Panther though.
