I have a HP 6L Laserjet printer (parallel) and I just recently heard of an adapter that could connect parallel ports to usb. Has anyone used this? Anyone with this type of printer? What are your experiences? Will I lose printing functionality? I won't use it for all too difficult graphical stuff, mainly printing pdf, webpages and letters.

Is there a difference between OS X and OS 9?

Check out the PowerPrint at www.strydent.com. They have a compatibility chart on the site that will tell you if their adapter will work with that printer.
