Sorry to ask again, but I have RAM that i got form an Apple store (expensive), the 'Apple profiler' tells me that the 'memory type' is 222s. Now I have RAM I got a PC (cheaper) store and the 'memory type' is CL2.

Now what is the difference, is it quality? is it speed?

An explaination will really help me cause I'm about to buy some more RAM and i want to have atleast an educated decision.

thanks 'seanyepez' so what you are saying it is the same? If so that hella sweet, cause it was almost half the price at the PC store. That means I be crankin over a gb of RAM is my new DP800, that I 'should' get in a week!

You won't find brand-name, quality SDRAM any cheaper than they have it.

Now, if only Apple would come out with a DDR-supporting G4 system! Time to sal-i-vate!!! :-)

The RAM isn't the same - just the same speed.

CL2 and 2-2-2 RAM run with a Cas Latency of 2 - so, they're fast.

But the stuff from the PC store may not be very high quality...

I second the suggestion of Crucial.
