Ok. so I've got a birthday coming up, so I'm thinking on spending the cash on the Sound Sticks & sub, never realy rated them untill I heard them in a local store.
So what I nead to know is how well do they work on an older AGP G4 (350 mhz).
They work fine on any mac with built in USB (they probably work fine on older macs with installed usb cards).
The only issue I ever had with the Soundsticks was that they would somehow lock up completely either of my recent macs (AGP G4 350 and G4 733 digital audio) whenever I played a Flash animation (that had sound) in the standalone Flash Player. Everything was fine when played through a web browser but the Soundsticks/standalone Flash player combination was deadly. Funnily enough upgrading to OS 9.2.1 seems to have cured the problem.
These are excellent speakers for the money! I've had several customers report back that they really like the sound they put out, and I've listened to them on our demo machines!
Why is there always money for war, but none for education?
