I've seen at least two firmware upgrades for the retail version of the ATI Radeon card yet no such upgrades for the OEM version. What difference is there in the basic hardware of these cards and why doesn't Apple follow suit with these upgrades? I've been told that installing these firmware upgrades to the OEM versions is not suggested. Anyone got any info on this?

I just bought a Radeon Mac Edition card a week ago. Definitely PCI. Apparently no new firmware available for it. Actually I have not seen a retail store Radeon card that is not PCI but, then again I only shop at a few stores so I might have missed something.
