I just spent some time looking around for a foam-lined solution that would help bridge the gap between laptops and desktops. This is for a client who works in temporary offices that last only for the duration of the job. Usually that's about 1 week to 6 months. I've seen customizable (perforated) foam linings in cases before but I'm wondering if there isn't somebody already manufacturing these for this specific purpose. He'd need something that would fit a full-sized keyboard too.

Thanks in advance.

Ah, thanks dog. I was hoping for a hard case option but these are great too. Thanks a lot!

Tenba
Star Case

Though personally, I'd pick up a Pelican Case (assuming one exists in the proper size) and diddle around with the perforated foam. They do make a precut case for a Mini and a 20" Al display, but alas, no iMac.
