I've been searching on the net to no avail.

Even the Apple store doesn't have it listed, it must be available somewhere.

Just go to Shopper.com and search for "geforce 2 ti" without the quotes. You'll have to wade through the listings of computers that come with that card, but you'll find them.

<patronizing> You know, it's curious. I never thought I see a post on a mac-centric message board from someone looking for a Geforce 2 Ti. A lot of people now want new graphics cards if their's isn't supported by Extreme Quartz, but a Geforce 2 Ti? That won't even WORK in a Macintosh! Never mind with Extreme Quartz. Until the Geforce 2 MX nVidia had never produced a Mac compatable card because of an incompatability they had with the PowerPC architecture. The Geforce 2 Ti still has that incompatability. Oh, and only PowerMacs can upgrade their graphics cards (iMacs are stuck with what they came with). I wouldn't have mentioned it, but just in case. </patronizing>

I hope this helped you not to make a foolish purchase. That is, unless you are purchasing this for a PC. In that case you shouldn't be posting on a Mac message board.

<patronizing> Oh, and the reason the Apple Store doesn't have it listed is that it won't work in any Macintosh ever created. </patronizing>

Sorry, I meant to ask where I can purchase the Nvidia Geforce 4Ti, not the 2Ti.

I can't seem to find it anywhere.

I thought NO Gforce TI style card works in a Mac. It's the non TI cards
that apparently do.

If you're looking for a GeForce 4Ti to put in a Mac, you'll have to wait as Apple is the only source for them. The cards are custom made for Apple in Taiwan I believe. Apple has said that they will be availible this spring, but spring does't end until June 20th, so it could be a while. One encouragiing sign is that people who ordered the card as part of a built-to-order Mac are getting notices that their computers are shipping. Hope that helps. The sad truth right now is that the only currently made retail video card for AGP Macs is the Ati Radeon 8500. Its a great card, but its over kill for those with older Macs like mine (G4/466) that just want 10.2 campatiblity, not gaming fps boosts. I was thinking of getting one of the 8500's, but I just couldn't justify spending $300 on a Mac this old.
