I have an old Powerbook 100, which my mother uses to write on. The stylewriter connected to it died, so I'm thinking of finding a used Stylewriter II. I can't, however, find what requirements the Stylewriter II has - I know that the Stylewriter 1200 requires system 7.1 or so and a + 68010 processor.
And the Powerbook has only sys 7.0.x and a 68000 processor.
Can anyone inform me with the requirements?

StyleWriter II extension (version 1.2) requires System Software 6.0.8, 7.0, or 7.0.1 (and a StyleWriter II). I should work with 68000 too.

Newer OS's must use stylewriter 1200/1500 extensions for the Stylewriter II.

Just out of curiosity - where did you find the info? Because I couldn't find it on the older softwarelist page (could just find the drivers) or anywhere else on apple's site.

The processor requirement I know of because I once used a Stylewriter II with an SE/Classic, which is 68000 too.

Mediamac is the one good Danish Mac-site, I think. There's several good ones in Swedish, though.
