I have been looking around for the availability of one of these items for my boyfriend who currently is living in Italy finishing up his doctoral degree in Italian. He is connected to the internet using his Ericcson phone and finds himself with pretty bad signal in Rome. I have been trying to see if any of these Apple USB Bluetooth are available ANYWHERE. Can anyone help me out, and lead me in with clues or stores that would carry them in stock. Thank you everyone for your help in advance!

It is not available at www.apple.com due to temporary unavailability. That is why I was inquiring about other places that would have this in stock. Please, all help is welcomed.

The Bluetooth USB adapter for Macintosh is made by D-Link. If you go the products page and click on purchase it links to the Apple BlueTooth page so I am guessing that the adapter isn't available yet.

I just posted something similar on the powerbook page. macminute.com quotes an article on macuseruk saying the bluetooth adaptor is out - apple is cancelling orders with no estimated fix. This could mean, I suppose, that something fundamentally different will show up at MWNY, but might mean they are still having production problems.
No bluetooth to connect my ti800 (on order) to a cell phone

Hello!
I just bought an Acer Bluetooth USB adapter, and it works fine with the Apple drivers (they sold them at a local electronics store for 49)
There is a TDK one out thatīs supposed to work, too...
Bye, Frido.
