I'm looking for a cheap (<£250) inkjet solution with PostScript, probably using one of the consumer-level Epson models. Does anyone here have any experience of this stuff?
Thanks in advance,

To my knowledge, there is no inkjet printer with on-board PostScript interpreter (although high-end inkjet printers often come with a separate PostScript RIP such as Fiery)
I have as Epson Stylus Photo 1270 and I've purchased Power RIP software from iProof Systems (about $400 CAN) and I am very happy with this setup. This is a true PostScript level 3 interpreter but it uses your Mac to RIP the job and then send it in a language that your printer can understand. It's not as fast as a dedicated RIP but it is far cheaper.
You should check iProof web site: http://www.iproofsystems.com
Hope this helps.

Do you know what the lowest Epson model that will work with this RIP is, or does it work with all of them?
Thanks!

Anyone got any experience of the iProof RIP / Epson Printers? I'm looking for info on ease of use & print quality vs price.
Thanks,
Jonny05
