Hello:
I have a SCSI Yamaha 8424 external CD-burner, running alongside with a Mac G4-400(AGP graphics). I am using Toast 3.5.7 and sometimes will burn PC-files. But can anyody tell me why I always fail to burn them successfully. I always encounter the same problem, though using different modes of burning. can anyone give me solutions, besides upgrading the software?
Thanks ahead

We can't help if you don't tell us what the problem is
But, sorry to say, chances are upgrading is the only option - mine came with Toast 3.57 and it was a pain.
Get Toast 4 Deluxe, and all will be sweet. As it is, 3.57 requires an external driver to work with the 8424... not good.
I have the exact same setup - what SCSI card do you have?
Allocate more RAM to the Toast app, and also increase the RAM cache.

Your email isn't in your profile - mail me, I have some information regarding the 8424 and Toast you might like.

I recently upgraded to T4.1.2 at the roxio.com site and found the upgrade to be worthwhile.
