i mean.. well.. they make possible the use of itunes in all macs.. including the recognition of the external CDRWs.. but , now i cant burn data cd.. so what's the joke here? everytime i wanna burn a data cd i have to go to the extension manager control panel and the restart and so on for the rest of my life??? come on!!!! apple got to do something with the cd burner software dont u think??? and please think different!

Rumour has it that Roxio will be releasing an update soon for Toast that will allow you to use it along side iTunes and Diskburner without any problems. I have no other info on this, but that's what I've heard.

Obviously, though, this is not a problem that will persist for long before being fixed, since there are a lot of people who are in the same position as you.
