Yeah... I was just wondering if anyon has had any good/bad experiences with this drive.... Thanks... It would be firewire by the way...

i'd also be interested in this, especially the drive's real-world performance. i know macworld review the drive when they checked out the various firewire burners out there. for some crazy reason the lacie drive took three times as long in one of the tests as either the QPS or EZQuest 8x drive.

No idea, but I have the LaCie USB Toaster here and it works fine (except for direct CD). Did they test the toasting speed with "Toast CD", or with Direct CD?

I have the LaCie-branded Firewire Plexwriter 8/4/32 and it works flawlessly.
Will burn a full CD in about 8-9 minutes.

Get a Yamaha.
They are bar none the best CD burners available.
Far clear of the competition in every way...
You wont regret it.
