I was wondering is the Apple Cinema display good for games? I mean how is the picture?

How is the Cinema display for Quake III. Diablo, UT, Sims, 4x4 Evo, Oni, or Driver?

Thanks!

the cinema display is great for games, although not all games support the resolution of the cinema display so you end up with a 1 inch black bar on both sides of the screen. i play unreal tournament and oni on it and both games look great.

Holy crap Dude. I can't believe that you just might convince your father to plop down nearly $6000 for a new G4 AND a Cinema display. All of this coming after a brand new Powerbook G4. Good lord...it sure must be nice to be you.
Yeah, about those TPS reports, didn't you get the memo?

I might not get the Cinema display, hopefully (probably) I will. But I won't get a new PowerMac then for 2-3 years. We haven't even ordered it yet.

We all are.

Could you take a screenshot of Q3 playing on the cinema display? That would be useful... get to see what it looks like. Thanks
