Purpose: I have heard that the purpose of the machine was to convert digital cable signals to a analouge signal. While doing this it could also server as a Mac OS Computer by booting the Mac OS off of Apple's servers through the Ethernet port. It is supposed to have a remote control, but i did not recieve it with the unit. The man that sold it said it was designed by Steve Wozniack, and was never authoiried by the FCC, so, it was never sold to anyone. This is a true piece of Apple history that should go down in the Books!
