Any advice on putting a PC monitor on this machine? This one ( Apple ColorPlus 14" ) just keeps dimming off an on. Going to look at a bunch of used monitors tomorrow . Money here is an object. Can't seem to get a clear bead on this from a web search. How 'bout adapters , any advice /insights. The Apple monitor on here now is a " fixed frequency " as far as I can tell. What about software for a PC monitor , is any needed ? Thanks for ant help , Marty

Hey, how much could cold ( it's cold here ) effect this ApplePlus monitor ?

You need to get this adapter. It will allow you to hook up any PC VGA monitor to your older mac.
