I have a Cosk'in USB stick, which worked perfectly, until my brother used it on his Mac.
He still works with OS9..., on OS9 you see hidden files/maps, and there were hidden files on the USB stick (volume structure file etc.?).

After using my stick (there were no files from me on it), he deleted his stuff, including the now visible 'USB system' files. So now the stick doesn't work anymore. When I for example put a folder on it with files, and after connecting the stick again, the folder is empty (the name hasn't changed), and the date changed to Januari 1, 1904.
Some files seem to stay on it, others get removed so it seems.

Has the stick become useless now, or is there anyway to repair it?
I already tried formatting it (with Disk Utility) but no luck (it probably needs those 'system' files to work properly?)
